When I migrated to the new site a while back I intended on picking up where I left off at BlogSpot but just bigger and better than before. As you can see this didn’t quite reach fruition. The main problem that has always been is one of regular updates. Keeping up with mobile tech news gets harder and harder as the industry moves so quickly. Also, you cannot really compete with the large blogs which already do a great job of serving news on Android such as Android Police, Android Central or Android and Me. By the time a new article is posted on here you would probably know all about it from them first.
However, this does not mean Little Green Dude has no future. It is a project of mine which has been left on the side for ages and I am almost ready to pick it back up again. Firstly, I intend to archive all the old content and start afresh but this time with a slightly different focus.
Previously Little Green Dude was a news site first and foremost but from now on I intend to focus it more on discussions, tips, tutorials, thoughts and opinions and only the news items of particular interest which I think I can offer a unique perspective on. This way there should be more value in the content published in addition to the other sites we already subscribe to for Android news.
I am sorry this has been so long in the coming but I have been busy with other things. I really hope I can get some momentum behind the site this time.
