One of the biggest annoyances with the Pixelbook Pen is that Google didn’t add any form of slot or clip to keep it attached to the Pixelbook itself. This can make it easy to lose as it’s hard to carry it around or stop it rolling off the desk when not in use. Luckily, Google is now giving away FREE Pixelbook Pen loops to keep your Pixelbook Pen safely attached.
This little fabric loop attaches to your Pixelbook and holds your Pen alongside. You can also still adjust your Pixelbook into any of its four modes while the pen is in place. All you need to do to get one is fill out a short little form over on Google’s new “Made by Google” site in the source link and they’ll send you one out for free.
This promotion is set to run until 31 May, 2018 (while supplies last) and is limited to one per Pixelbook. They are enforcing this limit by asking for your Pixelbook serial number before they send you out a loop. They also ask where you purchased it, your name, email & address. That’s it!
You can find your Pixelbook serial number on the bottom of the device, on the original box or (if you’ve enabled developer mode) by running: “sudo dump_vpd_log –full –stdout” from Chrome shell (Ctrl+Alt+T to open crosh and then run “shell”).
All in all it’s a nice little promotion from Google and is an infinitely cheaper alternative to the leather offerings from Bellroy etc. That said, those might be worth checking out too if you want something more premium feeling or if you find yourself reading this article in June when the promotion has finished!!
Anyway, if you own a Pixelbook and a Pixelbook Pen and fancy getting this handy little loop, then follow the source link below and nab yours now!
