Things are really starting to hot up now with MWC not even 48 hours away. However, the internet as ever doesn’t seem intent on just waiting. The latest leak is a Galaxy S6 promo from Sprint which very clearly shows the front of both the curved edge and flat display variants.
The promo image was leaked on Reddit by an alleged “verified employee” of Sprint, and continues Samsung’s “Six Appeal” advertising slogan that we first saw from T-Mobile and then also from Sprint and AT&T on Twitter. If you haven’t seen those yet, below is the one from T-Mobile. The other networks posted the same image just each in their own brand colours, here we are seeing it with T-Mobile’s typical magenta hue.
As always with this things, there is a chance this latest material could be faked but it does look pretty legitimate and it seems to match up with both the previous leaks and the limited glimpses we’ve had at the phone from the official teasers.
Between this image and the previous leaks, we now have a fairly complete picture of what the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are going to look like. It’s perhaps not as radical a change as some would like, but it is certainly a departure from the design of past Galaxy devices in some areas. In particular, the iPhone 6 style sides and of course the curved edges of both sides of the display, details which are very different to what we see on the current S5.
What our your thoughts on the design now we’ve seen it a little more clearly? Let us know in the comments section. Also, be sure to stay tuned here to Little Green Dude where we will be covering all kinds of MWC-related news over the next few days.
