It seems nothing stays secret anymore. We’ve already seen the S6 exposed prior to the event and HTC’s secrets are no better kept. Photos, promotional material and now even a hands-on video have leaked, seemingly all but confirming the design of the HTC One M9.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like it will have the design most of us were hoping for. As you can see the model shown in the latest leaks does not match the designs shown in the Spigen cases, the original leaks from Evleaks and the stunningly beautiful renders from PhoneDesigner that you see below.
There are still many who want to hold onto the hope that the final product will turn out like design from PhoneDesigner, and personally I would love that design to come to fruition, but it is looking incredibly unlikely at this point.
Instead, it looks like we’ll have to settle for a far more evolutionary design which only brings only very slight changes to the body of the M8 and even the M7 before it.
Today there been a hand-on video published on YouTube which allegedly is a final HTC M9 being compared to the previous two HTC One flagships (the M7 & M8) and as you can see it really isn’t a whole lot different.

There have been suggestions that this might be a decoy model along with many claims that this design is merely a just a hype-building campaign from HTC. However, we think that might just be wishful thinking as this comes on top of the following promotional videos showing the same design being leaked by upleaks on Twitter, which caused him to have his account temporarily suspended!
And it not just the visuals that have leaked either. The specs and the accessories have been allegedly revealed (also by upleaks) as well! When you combine all these photos and videos along with the following specs and accessories lists, you do start to wonder if there is much left for HTC to announce? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
