LG has released a new teaser video for their upcoming LG G4 launch on the 28th of April. The teaser doesn’t give us much but it does show a peek at the camera and reveals it will have an f/1.8 aperture.
For those of you who aren’t too familiar with cameras and the related terminology, f/1.8 is quite wide and so will let you capture great landscape scenes and allow it to take in more light which will help it capture nice photos in poorly-lit environments. A wide aperture also should help take pictures with a nice bokeh effect.
We also know from previous information that the G4 should have a 16-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation and laser-assisted autofocus, so things are shaping up well in the camera department for this new LG flagship.
Besides the camera, the phone is expected to be quite a beast with a 5.5-inch QHD display, 3GB RAM and a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor. All very impressive stuff, but then it will have to be in order to live up to all this hype and to meet the high bar set by last year’s G3.
The event for the unveiling isn’t until the 28th but for now you can watch the teaser clip below and also stay tuned here for coverage any future leaks, teasers and rumours surrounding the launch of this device.
