As part of a promotion for Valentines Day, Google is showing a bunch of “power couples” on the Google Store along with various discounts and savings if you order certain devices and/or accessories.
Perhaps most notably, Google are offering £35 or $50 off the newly-added Matt gold variant of the Nexus 6P as well as £30 or $50 credit towards its power couple the Huawei Watch with any 6P model ordered before August 1, 2016. You then have until the 1st of September to redeem this credit.
Google are also offering the Nexus 5X with a free Chromecast & £20 Google Play credit in the UK or $50 off and $10 Play credit in the US.
Besides these discounts and offers, they are also suggesting some other pairings (at regular price). These other “dynamic duos” include pairing the 5X with an official case for an additional £25; Pixel C with Pixel C keyboard; Nest Protect with Nest Thermostat; Asus Chromebook Flip with Chromecast; Chromecast with Chromecast Audio and a Nexus Player with the Nexus Player GamePad.
There are some pretty good deals and suggestions here to be had for any tech-lover or their partner, though they do perhaps vary in suitability for Valentines Day (yes puzzled eyes are on you Nest Thermostat!).
