Could Google keep the Nexus 5 around even after they launch its successor? Well if new rumours are to be believed then it would seem so. Not only that, they could even launch a larger 64GB model alongside the new model.
Now we must stress this is just a rumour and has not be substantiated with any solid evidence and so it could prove to be untrue. However we thought it sounded like an interesting idea if it did prove too and that it might appeal to some of you.
Other companies such as Samsung, Apple and Sony keep their old models around as cheaper alternatives to their current flagship so maybe it is about time Google followed suit. The Nexus line is also short on storage compared to many other flagship devices so this would even it up in two ways.
Would any of you be interested in a 64GB Nexus 5 or perhaps even a Nexus 5 in one of the existing storage capacities with a reduced price tag?
