Oh my, we’re already coming around to I/O news again! We’re very much looking forward to the event and if you follow around Android news than you should be too.

Happily, developer “Chanh Le” has made a lovely I/O themed watchface for us to use on our Android Wear devices and help count down the time.

Much like the countdown pages on Google’s 2015 I/O page, the watchface uses material design elements has a matching colour scheme. The numbers also sport Google I/O / Google Form inspired font and are cleverly animated.

You are also able to customise the colour combinations to your liking, so if the blue is not your thing then you can adjust it to better suite your tastes. It also features a dimmed mode which is good for saving battery and in low-light environments.

The developer states that the watchface will work with any Android Wear device and has both square and round modes so it should look great whether you have a Moto 360, Asus Zenwatch, Samsung Gear Live, LG G Watch R or in fact anything else. The only condition is that it’s running Android Wear and paired to a phone running Android 4.3+.

Does this sound like something you’d like to have on your wrist? If it does you can grab it straight from the Play Store absolutely free.
