To celebrate the launch of the new One M9 Gold Edition on EE, HTC has employed popular English model Kelly Brook for a new advert in which they’ve showered her in paint to create stunning images that look like she is wearing a dress made of liquid gold.
The inspiration for the scene came from the iconic moment in the Seven Year Itch where Marilyn Monroe’s dress was caught in an upward breeze. Over 440 litres of a special gold liquid were used for the photo shoot which latest over four hours before they had their final shots.
“It’s exciting to be one of the first human canvasses for this unique art form. They say you have to suffer for your art and being covered in freezing cold gold paint really pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I have to say it was worth it” – Kelly Brook
If you are interested in the gold One M9 (this was actually about a phone, remember?) then the device is available now as an exclusive to EE in the UK with plans starting at £31.99 a month with no up-front cost, giving you 1GB of 4G data, 1,000 minutes and unlimited texts.
However, if you just came here for Kelly Brook (we certainly wouldn’t hold that against you if you did!) then we’ve included the full gallery from the shoot below:
HTC has also posted the following behind-the-scenes video that shows a little of how it was all made.
