Motorola DROID Turbo users have had a long old wait for the Lollipop update but Motorola and Verizon have confirmed that the update is now being pushed out to devices, as of today.

The “soak test” for this update started a few days ago but the update should now start to show for everyone. However, this does not mean that everyone will definitely get the update to day – it will be the usual staged roll-out which means it could be a few days before everyone gets it.

The update will skip Android 5.0 and go straight from 4.4 KitKat to Android version 5.1 (Lollipop). Verizon and Motorola have both published comprehensive changelogs detailing what is new in this update. We have included the Verizon changelog below and you can find Motorola’s one here.
